The Artist

Hello, and once again thank you for visiting my NEW and improved site.

I will now tell you a little about myself.

My name is David Burns Jnr, I'm a 17 year old  school student from Dundee.

I have had an interest in art for a short number of years although I now dedicate a lot of my time to it.

I've now been drawing for around 3-4 years and like all people am still learning all the time,  improving along the way.

Although pencil drawings are my preferred choice of work I have been trying recently to use several different types of media, 

including pen and ink, water colours, acrylics and also oil pastels  to widen my range of capabilities.

With the media I've mentioned above I tend to enjoy doing portraits the most, however I have done illustrations, which I enjoyed, 

also pop art paintings are something I'm becoming increasingly interested  in doing. 

Recently I have been working on more professional projects including book illustrations which have helped to promote my work a bit more.
